Assalamu alaikum! My name is Nafisullin Ruslan Talagatovich (Habibulla is my second name). I am an interdisciplinary researcher in the field of artificial intelligence in the Islamic context, and the author and coordinator of the “Islamic Code of AI Application.” Since 2020, I have studied at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of Kazan Islamic University in the field of “Training of Servants and Religious Personnel for Religious Organizations.” I successfully defended my graduation thesis on the development of an Islamic ethical code for the application of artificial intelligence and implemented a number of practical cases in this area.
My professional and academic activities combine knowledge of Sharia and modern AI technologies. I am actively involved in the development, testing, and dissemination of knowledge regarding the responsible and ethical use of AI in Islamic society — both for religious organizations and for the wider public.
At various times, I have headed the Department of International Relations of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, created Hajj and Umrah programs, promoted Islamic values on social networks, and participated in the implementation of educational and technological initiatives. Currently, I serve as the imam-khatib of a mosque, teach the basics of Islam, and develop my own projects to popularize Islamic knowledge in the digital environment.
I am the author of mobile applications on religious topics, work on the restoration and typesetting of books from the Tatar theological heritage, and develop educational tools for studying Islam and applying AI within the framework of Sharia.
For the purpose of continuous professional development, I have completed advanced training courses in artificial intelligence and neural network technologies at the Zerocoding University, obtaining certificates in “Prompt Engineering” and “Application of Neural Networks in Business.” This training enabled me to master modern tools (OpenAI, LangChain, Voiceflow, Midjourney, etc.) and acquire practical skills in creating AI assistants, data processing, process automation, and implementing ethical AI solutions. The acquired competencies are integrated into my Islamic projects and educational activities.
The mission of my work is to demonstrate how the principles of Islam can and should guide the development of artificial intelligence for the benefit of society, without contradicting Sharia and moral values. The Islamic Code of AI Application, developed by myself and a team of like-minded individuals, is the world’s first project aimed at integrating the highest religious principles and modern technological standards for the sustainable, safe, and ethical development of the digital world. If you are interested in cooperation, consultation, or participation in the development of Islamic ethics in the era of AI, I would be glad to engage in dialogue.
